Arlene earned her MA in marriage & family therapy from California School of Professional Psychology and an MA in criminal justice from Boston University. In her former position with the federal bureau of investigation (FBI), Arlene was a subject matter expert in crimes against children. Her experiences led her to pursue career in marriage and family therapy, with the desire to provide hope and empowerment to those who have encountered challenging life experiences. Arlene believes that attachment and insight is the foundation to healing and change. She also incorporates sandtray therapy as a psychotherapeutic tool. Arlene is EMDR level-2 trained, and integrates a holistic approach to wellness, integrating the mind, the body, and spirituality.
