Dr. Vived is a Doctor of Psychology, licensed marriage and family therapist, clinical supervisor, and an educator. As the founder and clinical supervisor of Solutions, Dr. V leads a practice dedicated to supporting individuals, couples, and families through a trauma-informed and shame-informed lens. She is a graduate of University of Southern California (USC), University of San Francisco (USF), and Alliant International University, California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP). Dr. V completed post- doctoral training in psychoanalysis at the San Diego Psychoanalytic Center and Institute for Modern Psychoanalysis of Philadelphia (Formerly Philadelphia School for Psychoanalysis).

Dr. V has extensive experience working with repairing the wounds of infidelity and betrayal, addressing attachment challenges, parenting complexities, and the impact of childhood trauma. She works with and trains mental health professionals, as well as consults with local businesses and health care providers.

Dr. V is an Eye-Movement and Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) expert, EMDRIA® EMDR-Certified therapist, and EMDRIA® EMDR-Approved Consultant, an AAMFT-Approved Supervisor, and served as a professor and clinical training director at Alliant International University, California School of Professional Psychology for 10 years.

Sessions are guided towards results. Specializing in couples, trauma, complex trauma, anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, Dr. V works extensively with individuals, couples, and families to find the root of the dysfunction, improve relationships, heal and create lasting change. Her therapeutic approach is collaborative and active, providing structured guidance rather than passive observation. She is known to challenge her clients in a gentle way.
